Unfortunately presumably for vanity purposes to keep its phones slim, Apple has opted to not increase battery size by much over the years and it shows. According to UK consumer testing report Which?, it seems that the Apple’s iPhone 7 doesn’t even come close when measured up against 2016’s flagship phones.
As you can see in the image above, the test found that the iPhone 7 only lasted 712 minutes during a 3G phone call, and 615 minutes on 3G internet. The HTC 10 actually beats out the competition by lasting 1,859 minutes on a 3G call, and 790 minutes when using 3G internet. Coming in second place for calls would be the LG G5 with 1,579 minutes, but it falls to third place for internet where it lasted 640 minutes.
As for the Galaxy S7, it came in third for 3G calls at 1,492 minutes and second for internet where it lasted 677 minutes. As you can tell by these numbers, the differences are huge, so if you’re looking to buy a phone and battery life is your number one priority, then maybe the iPhone 7 isn’t the phone for you.
