An app supporting widgets is entirely up to the developer to choose, which means that whether or not your favorite app has a home screen widget will vary from app to app. There is no way to check if an app supports widgets, so you’ll need to do a search on Google or the App Store to find out if your favorite app supports it.
We imagine that eventually more apps will end up supporting widgets as it is still a relatively new feature, so give it some time.
