Samsung Galaxy S11 is almost around the corner. You might expect an official launch of the device in the mid-late February 2020.
However, a lot of information has already surfaced online for us to get a good idea of what to expect on the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S11.
In this article, we shall include every rumored/leaked info available out there until the official launch.
Note: This post will be updated regularly to reflect the latest information available on the Galaxy S11 series.
Samsung Galaxy S11 Is Probably ‘Galaxy S20’
Ice Universe – a reliable tipster for Samsung-related products recently tweeted that Galaxy S20 could be the next series of smartphones with the start of a new decade instead of calling it Galaxy S11.

So, if this is going to be true – we might want to re-think everything as “Samsung Galaxy S20” instead of S11.
Samsung Galaxy S11 Design
All thanks to @OnLeaks and 91Mobiles, we do have some amazing renders of how the smartphone might end up looking.
Of course, nothing’s for certain but if the trusted leaksters are to be believed, the new Samsung Galaxy S11 will have a punch-hole display with a front-camera placed at the center of the screen instead of the top-right corner (as seen in the Galaxy S10).
All of the variants will feature curved-edge displays in comparison to the flat approach on the Galaxy S10e.
Samsung Galaxy S11 Camera
As per the images available, the Galaxy S11 should sport a five-camera setup on the rear side, if the render is to be believed.
While it is being rumored that the new Galaxy S11 might feature a 108 MP rear camera, an official YouTube video for Samsung’s new 108 MP sensor was spotted:
So, this should give a very promising hint on Samsung’s Galaxy S11 rear camera. The sensor will have an impressive light sensitivity as well.
Of course, this could only be available for the high-end variants of the Galaxy S11 excluding the Galaxy S11e (if there’s one).
In addition to the primary camera, you can also expect a 48 MP telephoto lens on the Galaxy S11 series. A recent tweet by a reliable tipster confirms the information:
Samsung will lead the high-pixel telephoto lens, and the telephoto cameras of the S11e, S11, and S11 + are not less than 48MP.

If the Galaxy S11 is powered by Qualcomm’s high-end chip (highly probable), the eletro-optics performance will be unlocked by the extraordinary camera capabilities of Snapdragon 865.
Samsung Galaxy S11 Variants
We are not sure whether Samsung will follow last year’s naming – you should expect a Galaxy S11e, Galaxy S11, and the Galaxy S11+.
You should find 5G/LTE variants across the range of devices except the high-end model limited as a 5G only device.
Obviously, the specifications of the smartphone will vary across the variants offered. Let us take a look at the rumored specifications (as far as we know).
Samsung Galaxy S11 Display
In addition to a 120 Hz refresh rate for the screen – the S11 series could sport bigger displays this time.
@Evleaks did mention that you will have three variants with 6.2-inch, 6.7-inch, and 6.9-inch displays respectively for S11e, S11, and the S11+. In other words, it should be as big as the Note 10.
He also mentioned that the S11e might feature a 6.2-inch or a 6.4-inch display (no concrete confirmation on that).
Samsung Galaxy S11 Battery
As per the recent reports by SamMobile, the regular Galaxy S11 will pack in a 4500 mAh battery while the S11+ will feature a 5000 mAh battery.
Also, the Samsung Galaxy S11e 5G variant will have 25W fast charging (like the Note 10), which is definitely a step up from its 15W charging tech on the Galaxy S10 series.
The Galaxy S11+ might also have the 25W fast charging support, as per the specifications spotted in Geekbench.
Samsung Galaxy S11 Key Specifications
As per the recent Geekbench 5 score leak for the Galaxy S11 5G, it will be powered up by the Exynos 990 SoC (a.k.a Exynos 9830). In addition to the chipset, it will be coupled with 12 Gigs of RAM.
It is not clear whether the LTE variants with Snapdragon 865 will feature 12 Gigs RAM or not but you can expect 128 GB storage options as the minimum.
Also, this time, as reported by SamMobile, Samsung may consider selling Snapdragon variants in more markets.
Not much is known about the performance and the capability of the device but it will be safe to assume that the Galaxy S11 could utilize the full potential of Snapdragon 865 (which is reportedly better than Apple’s A13 chip).
Interesting Features That You Can Expect on Galaxy S11
In addition to the specifications of the smartphone, there are some reports that the Samsung Galaxy S11 could feature some interesting tech.
To start with, you could have the ability to scan two fingerprints simultaneously. And, of course, with the new chipset onboard, you should be able to record 8K videos as well.
It is also worth noting that the Galaxy S11 will no longer have a headphone jack – so you might expect some wireless accessories tailored for it as well.
Samsung Might Launch The Next Foldable Phone Along with The S11
You should also know that Samsung is going to launch its next foldable smartphone along with the Galaxy S11.
This may not the Galaxy Fold 2 – but something similar to Motorola RAZR as shown in this tweet:
In Chinese social media, Samsung's next-generation Galaxy Fold phone was leaked.
