Hisense will debut its latest addition to the L9 Series, the L9Q TriChroma Laser TV, at CES 2025. This updated model introduces enhanced performance, greater flexibility, and new design elements, expanding the home theater experience. The L9Q will be available in five screen sizes ranging from 100 to 150 inches, providing options for various room configurations and entertainment needs.
Enhanced Display and Color Accuracy
The L9Q features Hisense’s TriChroma triple-laser light engine, delivering 110% of the BT.2020 color space. This ensures high color accuracy and vibrant visuals across all content. With brightness levels up to 5,000 lumens and a 5,000:1 contrast ratio, the L9Q produces clear, detailed images even in brightly lit rooms. This combination highlights subtle details and enhances the viewing experience for movies, sports, and gaming.
Flexible Screen Options and Setup
The L9Q is compatible with Hisense’s Ambient Light Rejection (ALR) screens, available in 100, 110, 120, 136, and 150 inches. These screens reduce ambient light interference, improving brightness and maintaining image quality in various lighting conditions. Users can adjust screen sizes using Auto Screen Alignment and Manual Keystone Correction, ensuring a smooth and precise setup process. This flexibility makes it easier to adapt the TV to different room layouts.
Immersive Surround Sound
A standout feature of the L9Q is its 6.2.2 surround sound system, the first of its kind in a Laser TV. This system integrates Dolby Atmos, DTS Virtual X, and eARC for rich, multidimensional audio. The 15-degree tilted sound bin, inspired by Roman amphitheater designs, expands the soundstage to create a more immersive experience. Whether watching live sports or films, the sound complements the visuals for a more dynamic home theater environment.
Sleek and Modern Design
The L9Q features a Black Walnut Décor Panel and brushed metal finishes, providing a modern aesthetic that fits well in contemporary living spaces. The unit’s slim profile and subtle design details, such as the Clous de Paris texture, add to its refined appearance. These design elements balance functionality and style, making the L9Q a centerpiece for any home theater setup.
Smart TV Capabilities and Connectivity
Powered by Google TV, the L9Q offers over 800 free channels and thousands of streaming apps, including Netflix, YouTube, and Disney+. The TV supports voice assistant integration with Google Assistant, Amazon Alexa, and Apple HomeKit, allowing users to control settings and navigate content hands-free. Connectivity options include HDMI 2.1, Wi-Fi 6E, and NEXTGEN TV (ATSC 3.0), ensuring compatibility with current and future devices.
Live Demonstration at CES 2025
The L9Q will be showcased at CES 2025 from January 7-10 at the Las Vegas Convention Center, Central Hall – Booth 16625. Hisense will display the unit with an ultra-bright 2.9 gain screen, capable of reaching 1500 nits of brightness using nano-scale light enhancement technology.
