During IFA 2024 Sept. 4th at the next@acer global press conference in Berlin, Acer has unveiled new gaming PCs, including the Predator Orion 7000 desktop and Nitro V series laptops. Let’s get to know more about them!

Predator Orion 7000

The Predator Orion 7000 is a high-performance gaming desktop that features next-gen Intel processors, an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 GPU, and advanced cooling with the Predator CycloneX 360 system fan and a CPU liquid cooler.

This setup enhances gaming performance by improving thermal efficiency by 15% and reducing motherboard temperatures. RAM can go up to 128 GB if the user picks 4 32 GB DDR5 MHz sticks, which most likely will give more than enough power to run AAA games like a breeze.

For even more fun, this beast includes interesting extras like 3 months of Xbox Game Pass, and it includes not only a Wired keyboard with Copilot key but also a mouse.

The Nitro V series

The Nitro V series includes two new laptops: the Nitro V 14 and Nitro V 16. The first one features AMD Ryzen 7 processors (AMD Ryzen 7 8845HS, which is AMD Ryzen AI capable, or AMD Ryzen 5 8645HS), while the second bundles Intel Core i7-14650HX or Intel Core i5-14450HX chips.

These machines can be configured with powerful GPUs, going up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 or NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 respectively and up to 32 GB DDR5, which should be more than enough for both games and video editing, for those looking into content creation.

In the audio department, both come equipped with technologies like DTS X: Ultra, Acer Purified Voice 2.0 with AI noise reduction and 3-mic array, and Acer TrueHarmony technology.

Nitro V14

The Nitro V 14 is designed for gamers, students, and professionals seeking portability and performance. It features AMD Ryzen 8040 Series processors, up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 GPU, and a 14.5-inch display with options for WQXGA or WUXGA resolution.

It offers AI-enhanced features like DLSS 3.5 technology and extended battery life (up to 6 hours, according to the brand, which for a gaming PC is a good mark). In terms of display options, the user will be able to choose between panels with 2560×1600 or 1920×1200 resolution.

The machine stands out in terms of design with its pearl white chassis, a color that is not very common when we talk about gaming PCs, and when matched with the retro-illuminated keyboard and futuristic logo on the back, it will for sure grab some attention in the room.
