LG Electronics has introduced its latest lineup of SMART Monitors, comprising the 32SR50F and 27SR50F models, which are available in 31.5 and 27-inch sizes. What sets these monitors apart is their independence from traditional PC connections, making them ideal for boosting productivity.
They feature advanced IPS displays that deliver vivid, true-to-life colors and strong contrast, elevating the viewing experience. LG SMART Monitors also come with LG’s webOS 23 platform, which according to the brand, provides enhanced convenience for remote work and entertainment purposes.
The brand says that these monitors were made to excel in both work and play, with their high-performance IPS displays and support for HDR 10. They deliver accurate images that enhance tasks like conference calls, document editing, and internet research. The 27-inch model, with its 3-sided virtually borderless design, offers a sleek and minimalist appearance, creating an immersive environment.
The integration of webOS 23 into the LG SMART Monitors enhances convenience further. Users have easy access to streaming apps, personalized sports profiles with customizable sports service cards, and the LG Mood Music function, which creates playlists based on musical preferences.
For those working from home, these monitors come with built-in LG Home Office software that supports productivity programs, including Microsoft 365 and Google Calendar. They also offer content sharing from smart devices via AirPlay 2 and Miracast. Additionally, both can serve as smart home hubs, connecting with various IoT-compatible appliances via LG’s ThinQ Home Hub.
Seo Young-jae, senior vice president of LG Electronics Business Solutions Company, emphasized that the SMART Monitor series is designed to cater to diverse user preferences and demands. LG’s future plans include introducing SMART Monitors that meet even broader lifestyle needs.
The new LG SMART Monitors are available in the US market for $499 and $199.
