Roborock, the maker of smart home robots, announced this Tuesday (29) during a press conference its latest offerings at IFA 2023. We’re talking about the Roborock S8 Series of robot vacuums and the Dyad Pro cordless wet/dry vacuum, both previously introduced during CES 2023 in January.
The S8 Series includes three models: Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, Roborock S8+, and Roborock S8. These robots bring an advanced cleaning system capable of effectively maneuvering around obstacles and even maintaining themselves — Which means less hassle and more thorough cleaning for users.
The Roborock S8 Series showcases the Roborock RockDock Ultra system, which includes automatic mop washing, dust emptying, refilling, and self-cleaning. This dock also prevents mold and odors on the mop pad. The S8 Series robots deliver a suction power of 6,000Pa, making them effective at picking up dirt and pet hair. A dual rubber roller brush design prevents hair tangles and ensures efficient cleaning.
The S8 Pro Ultra stands out with its VibraRise 2.0 Mopping System, which adapts to different surfaces and scrubs floors effectively. The robot’s Reactive 3D Obstacle Avoidance System enables it to identify and navigate around objects in its path.
Additionally, Roborock announced the Dyad Pro, a cordless wet/dry vacuum with 17,000Pa suction power, which enables it to handle both wet and dry messes with ease. The product offers convenient self-maintenance features, ensuring a clean and odor-free experience.
According to Richard Chang, Roborock’s CEO, the S8 Series and Dyad Pro are game-changers in the cleaning appliance market. They provide comprehensive solutions for customers worldwide, enhancing cleaning effectiveness and convenience.
The Dyad Pro’s wet and dry capabilities feature DyadPower technology for a thorough cleaning. It can vacuum and wash simultaneously, making it versatile for various cleaning tasks. The automatic self-maintenance ensures that the Dyad Pro remains clean and odor-free over time.
Both the S8 Series and Dyad Pro are available for purchase on Amazon and Roborock’s Official Store in the US. The S8 Series starts at $749.99, while the Dyad Pro, is priced at $449.99.
