Last June, Anker introduced its new brand, SOLIX, dedicated to home energy devices. Among its offerings were the Solix Balcony Solution, a balcony power storage solution with a 1.6 kWh capacity, alongside the Solix F1200 Portable Power Station Bundle with RS40/RS40P and Solix All-in-One Energy Storage Solution.
With sustainability as the prominent theme of IFA 2023, the show promises to showcase many energy solutions and power efficiency innovations. Among the exhibitors focused on that segment, SOLIX unveiled its latest addition at Showstoppers, the SOLIX F3800. A hybrid solution, the SOLIX F3800 is bridging the functionalities of both a power station and a home power system.
Homeowners can easily plug the SOLIX F3800 into their existing power infrastructure, and thanks to its 3840 Wh high-capacity, Anker claims it can power the house for about a week with the 27000 Wh extra battery pack. Weighing 60 kg and mounted on wheels, the solution comes in handy in case of power outages during hurricanes, for example.
A standout feature is the SOLIX F3800’s AC output power of up to 6000W, enabling simultaneous charging heavy-duty appliances like washing machines, dryers, and fridges. And the cherry on the cake, the device boasts an EV plug, leveraging its 26 kWh capacity to recharge electric vehicles for a range of up to 120 km.
For people aspiring to embrace an off-grid lifestyle, Anker can plug the SOLIX F3800 into a solar panel. Anker claims the device is fully charged in 1.8 hours with 2400W solar and in 1.5 hours with a 2900W wall charger.
