Google has finally given us a glimpse of the much-anticipated Pixel Fold! In a quick teaser video released on its official Twitter account, Google showed off a brief glimpse of the upcoming foldable smartphone.
The video, which is only 8 seconds long, shows the device closed and then proceeds to show it unfolding, which then seamlessly transitions to an open device.
While the teaser video doesn’t reveal anything about the phone’s hardware, it does confirm that the Pixel Fold will be released soon (very likely to be revealed at I/O this year, which we at Ubergizmo.com are covering and that will be taking place on May 10th).

According to rumors, the Pixel Fold is expected to feature a 7.6-inch OLED display when unfolded and a 4.6-inch display when folded. Additionally, it’s believed that the Pixel Fold will feature an under-display camera (similar to the technology used in the ZTE Axon 20 5G) and the Tensor G2 SoC, which is developed by Google itself.
The device is expected to weigh 283g and could potentially have a slightly larger battery compared to the Galaxy Z Fold4, with an expected retail price starting at $1,799 in the US. The commercial release is scheduled for June 27th. We’ll be sure to keep you updated as more information becomes available.
