Google Pixel 7a Announced With Tensor G2 SoC, 64 MP Camera And A Great Price

During the I/O 2023, Google finally unveiled the Pixel 7a, the latest addition to its Pixel 7 family of smartphones. The device offers a premium mid-range experience with a sleek design and impressive features. Sporting a 6.1″ OLED screen with FHD+ resolution and a 90 Hz refresh rate, the phone is made of aluminum and plastic and comes in 4 different colors: Charcoal, Snow, Sea, and Coral.

The new Pixel is powered by the Google Tensor G2 chip, which is paired with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. The Tensor G2 chip enables fast performance, smart features, and enhanced security.

The Pixel 7a boasts a dual rear camera system with a 64 MP main sensor and a 13 MP ultra-wide sensor. The main sensor has optical image stabilization and delivers sharp 16 MP photos by combining four pixels into one. The ultra-wide sensor captures stunning landscapes and wide scenes. The front camera has a 13 MP sensor and supports face unlock.

The Pixel 7a can record videos in 4K resolution with both the front and rear cameras. The phone also has some exclusive camera features, such as Super Res Zoom, Long Exposure, and Magic Eraser.


The Pixel 7a has a 4,385 mAh battery that can last for more than a day on a single charge. The phone supports 18W fast charging and 7.5W wireless charging. The phone also learns your usage patterns and optimizes the battery life accordingly.

The Pixel 7a runs on Android 13 with three years of guaranteed updates. The phone also has some exclusive software features, such as Live Translate, Hold for Me, and Call Screen.
