How To Watch The Honor Launch @ MWC (Feb 27)

HONOR Magic5 Pro | Snap the Best Side

We’re heading to the live Honor launch event at Mobile World Congress (MWC) On February 27th, but if you’re not on-site in Barcelona, you can still follow it live with us.

Honor will unveil the global version of its HONOR Magic Vs (pronounced v-s, not 5-s) foldable phone and its brand new flagship HONOR Magic5 Series at MWC in Barcelona, Spain.

Both devices series are formidable android smartphones. We’re looking forward to seeing if the global version is as excellent as the original one and where+when it will become available to all.

Honor has an official Livestream page for the event located at www.hihonor.com/global/events/honor-mwc/

Tune in before 13:00 on February 22nd (CET, Central European Time, or Barcelona Time) to check Honor’s latest announcement alongside us.

Keep an eye out for me (Eliane Fiolet) in the media crowd, and if you can’t make it, come back to our Honor or MWC page to check on the latest news. See you then!

The HONOR Magic Vs seems like a formidable folding phone; we will review it soon. Make sure to subscribe to our various channels.

The significant advantage of the new HONOR Magic Vs is its simplified hinge design which means it can be more reliable than more complex designs from the competition. The folding mechanism of this phone is not only tighter than its legacy competition, but it is supposed to be twice as durable as well (400,000 folds, or 100X per day, for ten years). Obviously, a tighter fold also means that the closed phone is thinner than the competition.

We’re looking forward to seeing what the new HONOR Magic5 Series is all about, but Honor typically hits very hard with these, and past launches did not disappoint! The Honor camera will surely be important, and we’ll see how it scores in our CAMERA HW benchmark.
