Poco has been making a name for themselves for creating phones that have incredibly great value while also being very affordable, and it looks like the company’s strategy isn’t changing anytime soon as they have recently announced their latest smartphone, the Poco X4 Pro 5G.
In terms of design, the X4 Pro 5G looks a lot like the company’s recently launched phones where it sports a colorful case with a huge camera module on the back. The phone will come with a 6.67-inch 1,080 x 2,400 AMOLED display and a 120Hz refresh rate, and also a 360Hz touch sampling rate. This is an improvement over the previous model that had a 240Hz sampling rate.
Given that this is designed to be a mid-ranger, under the hood, the X4 Pro 5G will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 695, and will be available in 6GB RAM or 8GB RAM variants, with 128GB or 256GB of storage. There is also a pretty sizable 5,000mAh battery that can be fast charged at 67W with the included charger.
As for the cameras, Poco has equipped the phone with a 108MP main sensor,an 8MP ultrawide, and a 2MP macro, while the front-facing camera will pack a 16MP sensor. This is a bit of an odd choice given that the X3 Pro had a 20MP selfie cam, but hopefully the difference in sensors won’t be too obvious.
Poco will be making the phone available on the 2nd of March where it will be priced at €300 for the 6/128GB model, but there will be a €30 early bird discount plus an additional €20 on the first day itself, effectively bringing the phone’s price down to €250 if you were to order it on launch day.
