In the past, if there were certain channels you wanted to watch, you’d have to make sure you were subscribed to a cable TV service that had the channel(s) you wanted. Sometimes these bundles aren’t ideal but you had little choice, but thankfully on-demand streaming has changed all of that.
If you enjoy watching CNN and just want to be able to enjoy CNN without a cable subscription, then you will be pleased to learn that CNN has confirmed that its upcoming CNN+ streaming service will be launching this coming spring where it will be priced at $6 a month.
For those who are hearing about this for the first time, CNN+ was initially announced back in 2021. It will offer everything you know and love about CNN, such as live videos where the platform is expected to offer 8-12 hours worth of in-depth topical coverage and lifestyle topics everyday.
It will also provide subscribers with access to on-demand shows like Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown and United Shades of America, along with other original programming. The best part is that it’s pretty cheap. CNN says that for those who subscribe within the first four weeks of launch, the company will offer lifetime monthly subscriptions at 50% off, making it a pretty good deal.
