However, now that the cheaper Studio Display has been announced, it looks like Apple has decided they’re done with the LG UltraFine display for good as the company has stopped selling the 5K LG UltraFine monitor in its stores.
This means that if you wanted to get your hands on the display, you’d have to try your luck at an Apple store in-person or maybe a third-party retailer who might still be selling it. There are, of course, other displays that will work just fine with your Mac, but we suppose there is something comforting about knowing the display was created with Mac computers in mind.
Apple’s new Studio Display will also feature a 5K resolution in a 27-inch screen, but it has the added benefit of the A13 Bionic chipset that will be used to power features like Center Stage. There are also built-in cameras and speakers, making it ideal for users who don’t want to attach additional peripherals to their computer setups.
