The other day, it was reported that Apple could introduce a larger MacBook Air model with a 15-inch display, but as it turns out that’s not all. According to DSCC CEO Ross Young, he claims that Apple’s current 13-inch MacBook Air could also get a slight upgrade in its size as well.
However, this bump in size is extremely marginal. Right now, the current 13-inch MacBook Air actually measures 13.3-inches, and according to Young, he claims it will be bumped to 13.6-inches, meaning that the real change is 0.3-inches which we’re not sure will be particularly noticeable.
and 2022 MacBook Air will increase from 13.3" to 13.6".

That being said, keep in mind that the rumors surrounding the MacBook Air’s refresh is that Apple is expected to introduce a brand new design with slimmer bezels on the size. This means that Apple could actually increase the display size without actually increasing the overall size of the laptop, allowing it to continue to fit current 13-inch laptop sleeves.
That being said, like we said earlier, 0.3-inches will be barely noticeable but hey, an upgrade is still an upgrade, right? Either way, it’s probably best to take this with a grain of salt for now until later in the year where hopefully Apple will have more details to share.
