If you’ve ever played games at an arcade, there’s a very good chance that one of those games might have been Capcom’s Street Fighter series. It is one of the most popular and iconic fighting games in the world, but for some reason has felt kind of neglected over the years.
This is because the last time Capcom released a major Street Fighter title, it was Street Fighter 5 back in 2016. The good news for fans of the franchise is that if you’ve been looking forward to playing something new and different, then you’ll be pleased to learn that Capcom has since officially announced Street Fighter 6.
Not much is known about the game at the moment and the teaser trailer doesn’t really tell us much, but according to Capcom, they say that more information about the game is expected to be revealed this coming summer, which means that it won’t be releasing anytime soon and we’ll just have to wait until the summer for the details.
It will be interesting to see the changes that Capcom could bring to the table, plus the new graphics and effects, and also who else they might be adding to the roster, so remember to check back in the coming months for hopefully more details.
