Every year, Apple typically hosts an event in the early part of the year ahead of WWDC. This year does not appear to be the exception, but the question is when will the event be taking place? According to a report from Bloomberg, it could happen in the next month or so in the early part of March.

Assuming the report is accurate, it claims that Apple’s spring event will be taking place on the 8th of March, or possibly around that time of the month. This event is expected to see Apple announce a handful of new products, one of which will be Apple’s entry-level iPhone SE 5G smartphone.

This will be the first iPhone SE from Apple to support 5G, which is actually pretty great because given the price of the iPhone SE, bringing 5G to a somewhat relatively affordable smartphone could help Apple sell more of its products instead of customers being forced to purchase Apple’s higher-end iPhones.

The event is also expected to see Apple launch new iPads and potentially even a new Mac computer that could see the use of the M2 chipset, the successor to the M1 that originally launched towards the end of 2020. Safe to say that this should be taken with a grain of salt for now, but if the March event rumor holds true, we should have more details in the coming weeks.
