According to Young, he believes that the mini LED panels that will be used in the iMac Pro might ship in June, which means that the computer might only be launching in August or September. We’re not sure if this means that Apple will wait until then to announce the iMac Pro, or if they could still announce it in the summer but only open orders for it later.
We expect panel shipments from June, but the product may not launch till August or September.

So far, only the 27-inch iMac and Mac Pro have yet to be updated to use the Apple Silicon chipsets. Apple did announce a refreshed and redesigned 24-inch iMac back in 2021, but for those who have been waiting for the larger 27-inch iMac, it will apparently now sport the iMac Pro branding, which is admittedly a bit confusing as the company did previously discontinue the iMac Pro a while ago.
Apple usually hosts several events throughout the year, one in the spring which is usually Mac and/or iPad related, which is why many were hoping to see the new iMac Pro announced there. Assuming Young’s report is accurate, it looks like iMac Pro hopefuls will have to wait a few more months.
