The MP230 features a wooden frame, which isn’t as common when it comes to portable Bluetooth speakers, a “boutique mesh” front, and piano key buttons for those who can still appreciate the tactility of physical buttons over touch-sensitive buttons or capacitive displays. The speakers themselves feature the use of a TAS5822M amplifier chipset by Texas Instruments, along with two 48mm full-range drivers with integrated double passive radiators.
In addition to having Bluetooth capabilities, the speakers will also give users alternative connectivity options. This includes an AUX input if you prefer a wired input, or TF card. The speakers also boast a 16-hour battery life which is pretty amazing for Bluetooth speakers, so it should be able to last you for a couple of days, assuming you don’t play music on it non-stop.
If this sounds like something you might be interested in, the speakers are available from Edifier’s website where it is priced at $100.
