Hot on the heels of Apple’s announcement set for the 18th of October, it seems that Samsung might be trying to steal some of Apple’s thunder because the company has since announced another Galaxy Unpacked event scheduled a few days later on the 20th of October.
According to Samsung, “Our users are multifaceted and live life in so many colorful, interesting, and unique ways. As such, the technology they use every day should reflect their individuality. Join Galaxy Unpacked Part 2 on October 20 to see how Samsung is opening up new experiences for self-expression through technology. The event will be streamed at Samsung’s YouTube channel beginning at 10 a.m. ET. “
This actually comes as a bit of a surprise because we’re not sure what Samsung could be announcing. The company has already announced its major phones for the year including the Galaxy S21 and its new foldables, the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3, so we’re not sure what else they could have up their sleeves.
The company has been rumored to have one more handset, the Galaxy S21 FE, but we’re not sure if the phone is worth having its own event. Either way we’ll find out soon enough so stay tuned for updates.
