Google’s New Pixel Pass Could Give The Apple One Bundle A Run For Its Money

Apple has its Apple One subscription bundle that basically bundles subscriptions like Apple Music, Apple Arcade, iCloud, and more together at a cheaper price compared to subscribing to all of them individually. Now it looks like Google has their answer to the Apple One, but it comes with additional features that could make it quite an attractive option for would-be Pixel owners.

First off, we should point out that the Pixel Pass will not come cheap. It is priced starting at $45 a month for the Pixel 6 and $55 for the Pixel 6 Pro, but what you’re getting is a subscription to YouTube Premium, YouTube Music Premium, Google One with 200GB of storage, Google Play Pass (which is Google’s answer to Apple Arcade), and also Preferred Care coverage for your Pixel phone.

You will also essentially be getting either the Pixel 6 or Pixel 6 Pro in the process, so what you’re doing is buying the phone directly from Google and paying it back on monthly installments, while getting a bunch of other perks in the process. Your phone will also be unlocked so you’re free to use it with whichever carrier you want.

Also, at the end of two years, customers will have the option to upgrade to whichever new Pixel phone is available at that time. It’s admittedly a very interesting offer and if you’re interested, you’ll be able to purchase the Pixel Pass from either the Google Store or through Google Fi.
