Apple Watch Series 7 Pre-Orders Will Give Live October 8

Despite having announced the Apple Watch Series 7 at the iPhone event last month, Apple failed to provide customers with a date for when they’ll be able to order the device. The good news is that Apple has finally settled on a date and as per the previous rumors, it looks like pre-orders are expected to go live on the 8th of October.

Apple also notes on its website that the watch itself would be available on the 15th of October, the week after, so if you don’t plan to pre-order it, you can always opt to buy it in stores then. However, according to Jon Prosser’s tweet, that might be difficult. Prosser claims that mass production only began a month ago which means that initial stock will be “very limited”.

This means that if you’re hoping to secure yourself a unit right out of the gate, then you will have to place a pre-order quickly, otherwise you might have to wait a while before your model arrives. Also, as some have pointed out, Apple has yet to mention how much the watch will cost. The company did state it would be priced starting at $399, but presumably that’s for the smallest and cheapest model.

This means that for those who might want the more pricey models with a larger display and higher-end materials will have to wait for the pre-orders to find out. It’s a bit strange, but as pre-orders will kick off this Friday, we suppose we don’t have to wait too long to find out.
