If you are in the market for a new keyboard, then you’ll be pleased to learn that Razer has since announced an updated lineup in the Huntsman V2. According to Razer, some of the changes we can expect include 2nd generation Optical Switches, Razer 8K and HyperPolling Technology, and the use of double-shot PBT keycaps that will last longer.
According to Razer, some of the changes to the switches include the use of a silicone sound dampener that helps reduce the “clack” a switch makes. They claim to have introduced a more generous amount of lubing to help improve the smoothness and to reduce noise on both the switches and stabilizers.
Last but not least, Razer will also be offering a TKL version of the Huntsman V2 which does away with the numpad, so if that’s something you hardly or never use, then this could be a space saver. The Razer Huntsman V2 will be priced at $190 for the full-sized version, and $150 for the TKL version.
