When you think of smart lighting systems, there’s a good chance Philips Hue pops into your head. If you’re looking to furnish your home with more of their smart lights or maybe get started, you’ll be very interested to learn that the company has since announced a bunch of brand new lighting solutions.
The first and most colorful of the bunch is the new Philips Hue Play Gradient Light Tube. This light tube shares the same gradient color tech as the company’s gradient light strip, except that it now comes in a tube form. It has been designed to sit above or below a TV, although honestly you can place it anywhere you see fit.
The company has also announced new White Filament E14 Candle Bulbs, which will be an alternative to the previous bulbs that were only offered in a warm yellow light. The company’s new White and Color Ambiance bulbs have also been updated in 1,100 and 1,600 lumen variants so there are now brighter options if you prefer.
The Hue Play Gradient Light Tube will be priced at $180 for the compact version, $200 for the large version, and will be available come January 18, 2022. The White ambiance filament bulbs are priced starting at $35 and will vary in price depending on the fit.
