This is according to a tweet by user Shadow_Leak who claims to have some specs on the upcoming Surface Pro 8. Assuming the leak is accurate, the upcoming tablet is expected to be powered by Intel’s 11th-gen Core processor, sport dual Thunderbolt interfaces, have a replaceable SSD, run Windows 11, and will also feature a 13-inch 120Hz refresh rate display that will apparently sport slimmer bezels.

The tweet also goes on to state the pricing of the tablet where it is expected to be priced starting at around $799 for the base model, and obviously the more powerful configurations with more RAM or storage will be more expensive.
We can’t say for sure how accurate these claims are, but the comments do seem quite happy at the idea of a replaceable SSD, since it means that users will be able to add their own SSDs instead of paying Microsoft a premium. Some have wished for replaceable RAM but it seems unlikely.
Either way, take it with a grain of salt and check back with us in the coming days where hopefully Microsoft will have more details to share.
