In fact, it seems that Google has made some changes to its search page on desktop where users can now choose to enable dark mode. This is similar to the Google Search app on iOS and Android devices that already have dark mode, so it’s nice to see it brought over onto desktop as well.
Users will be able to find the settings in either the main Google Search page where they can click on “Settings” and under “Appearance”, there should be an option for dark mode. Alternatively, they can also find the settings in the search results page where they can click the cog icon and there should be an option for Appearance as well.
However, if you don’t see this option available for you yet, don’t worry as Google is in the process of pushing it out to everyone. Google has actually been testing it out since December 2020, but it looks like it is now ready for everyone.
