There have been rumors that Google could be working on a foldable Pixel handset. These rumors have been making their rounds for a while now, and some even believe that such a handset could launch this year. It’s a bit odd because Google hasn’t said anything, but they’ve already said plenty about the Pixel 6.
However, this isn’t stopping some from believing that a foldable Pixel could still be in the cards for the remainder of 2021. This is according to a tweet by David Naranjo, the senior director at Display Supply Chain Consultants, who believes that a foldable Pixel handset could launch in the fourth quarter of the year.

Google is currently rumored to be launching their new Pixel 6 smartphones on the 19th of October, so it is unclear if the rumored Pixel Fold will be launching alongside it, or if the handset will be launching at a separate event of its own. Needless to say this should be taken with a grain of salt, but at the same time, it would be rather interesting to see Google attempt a foldable.
Right now Samsung is undeniably the king of foldables as they have been very aggressive with their products, so it would be nice to see alternatives being offered in the market.
