Priced at $60, this is possibly one of the cheapest smart thermostats we’ve seen so far. This is compared to the competition like the Nest which costs $130, Ecobee’s $250 option, and Wyze whose thermostat is going for $80. But the question is, for $60, what are you getting in return?
According to Amazon, this thermostat was developed in partnership with Resideo, the makers of the Honeywell Home smart thermostats. It will work with most existing 24V HVAC systems and includes support for features like Alexa routines, presence detection, as well as remote control so that you can manually control the thermostat even if you aren’t home.
It features a simple display that shows the current temperature as well as built-in controls to change the mod and adjust the temperature. At 3.5-inches wide, it’s not particularly big so installing it in your home shouldn’t be an issue. Pre-orders are now live and it is expected to begin shipping to customers in November.
