When you compare the features of a tablet next to an e-reader, it feels like a tablet would obviously come out on top. It can do so much more than an e-reader, but yet e-readers continue to exist and they are pretty popular too. This is because generally speaking, they offer longer battery life and are more comfortable on the eyes when it comes to e-books.
If you’re looking for a new e-reader to read your e-books on, then you might be interested to learn that Amazon could have a bunch of new Kindles in the works. This is according to a report from Good eReader who discovered that Amazon had accidentally revealed a couple of new Kindle Paperwhite devices that they have yet to announce.
This includes a regular version and also a Signature Edition. From what we can tell, both devices will have the same 6.8-inch display, but the SIgnature Edition will come with 32GB of storage versus the 8GB in the normal version, and will also have features like auto-adjusting light sensors as well as support for wireless charging.
Assuming the listing is accurate, the new Kindle Paperwhite will be priced at $150, while the Signature Edition will retail for $210. There is currently no word on when the e-readers will be announced, but given their listing, we expect an official launch shouldn’t be too far off.
