There was a report last week in which it was rumored that Amazon’s next product could come in the form of their own brand of TVs. It turns out the rumors were right because Amazon has since debuted a brand new lineup of Fire TV Omni devices. These are Amazon’s own TVs that come in a variety of sizes.
This includes 43-inch, 50-inch, 55-inch, 65-inch, and 75-inch options, all of which feature 4K resolution, so it’s really up to you which size you prefer and which suits your needs best. However, the larger 65-inch and 75-inch models do come with support for Dolby Vision, but apart from that, all models will share more or less the same features like HDMI 2.0 ports, a HDMI eARC 2.1 port, and as expected of Amazon, they will also come with Alexa integrated into them.
The TVs will also be powered by Amazon’s Fire TV interface, which is the same that they use in the Fire TV sticks, and will also feature a Fire TV Alexa Voice Remote. It’s an interesting direction for the company, but not a surprising one. Amazon has been creating its own brand of products over the years ranging from phones, to tablets, speakers, gadget pouches, monitor arms, so TVs don’t really seem like that much of a stretch.
In addition to the Fire TV Omni series, Amazon has also introduced the Fire TV 4-Series which are 4K TVs but are designed to be cheaper. If you’re interested in getting your hands on them, then head on over to Amazon’s website for the details.
