This is because according to a report from The T-Mo Report, they have been tipped off by their sources that T-Mobile and Google could be working together to offer an exclusive Google One subscription just for T-Mobile customers. This plan is said to come in at 500GB of storage and will be priced at $5 a month.
At the moment, Google offers four different tiers for Google One. This includes the base and free tier of 15GB, then it goes to 100GB, then 200GB, before jumping to 2TB. 500GB would be right between 200GB and 2TB and could be a compromise for those who need more than 200GB but don’t want to pay for 2TB of cloud storage.
The plan is said to be launching on the 1st of September and will be offered to all T-Mobile customers. The carrier hasn’t officially announced anything yet but if the 1st of September launch date is true, we should be able to expect an announcement soon.
