While we have seen a couple of superhero movies released this year, we have to say that out of all of them, Spider-Man is probably one of the most anticipated ones. This is because of how the previous movie ended, and how the drama between Sony and Marvel almost resulted in there not being a third movie.
That being said, for those who have been eagerly anticipating Spider-Man: No Way Home, you’ll be pleased to learn that the official teaser trailer for the movie has since been released. It does confirm what many have already known by now, which is that several actors from the previous Spider-Man movies are expected to reprise their roles.
This is thanks to Doctor Strange’s meddling that somehow contributed to the multiverse breaking down and the various universes coming together, which explains how the previous Spider-Man characters are now finding their way into the MCU. The trailer does a good job of hyping up the movie, but it remains to be seen how it actually fares.
Spider-Man: No Way Home is currently scheduled for a release on the 17th of December exclusively in cinemas, suggesting that Disney could be trying to phase out its previous strategy of releasing it in both cinemas and Disney+ at the same time.
