For a lot of countries, if you plan to enter, there’s a good chance you will have to quarantine yourself at a quarantine center or hotel for the next 14 days. This is to ensure that if you do have the coronavirus, you are isolated and won’t spread it to the population. The quarantine process can be boring and lonely, but one man figured out how to deal with that.
The man in question, Vignesh Rajkumar had spent some time overseas and was returning to Singapore. Upon returning, he had to undergo a mandatory quarantine period, but as he knew that beforehand, he contacted Singaporean PC maker Aftershock to get them to build a gaming rig to send it to his quarantine hotel.
As you can see, this is a complete gamers setup that we think would make most gamers under normal circumstances very jealous. The entire rig is said to have cost him around S$10,000 which is by no means a small amount, but hey, we reckon that at this rate, he should have no problems getting through quarantine.
That being said, this is probably not an option that will be available or accessible to everyone, but it is one of the most creative ways we’ve seen how people spend their quarantines.
