For 2021, Google has officially announced the Pixel 5a 5G. We have been hearing about this phone for a while, so it’s good to see that it has finally been launched. It is priced at $449 which isn’t exactly budget, but it is still more affordable than some of the higher-end flagships, plus it’s also a Pixel phone so there’s the added advantage if you’re looking for an unadulterated Google experience.
In terms of specs, the Pixel 5a 5G will come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G chipset under the hood. It will be accompanied by 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, and it will also sport a 6.34-inch 1080p OLED display, making it marginally larger than its predecessor, the Pixel 4a 5G.
The Pixel 5a 5G will also feature a dual camera setup with support for features like Portrait Light, Cinematic Pan, and Night Side. That being said, it should be noted that the Pixel 5a 5G is going to be limited in terms of availability. It is currently only being planned for release in the US and Japan, so those living in other parts of the world might not be able to get their hands on it.
