For those who are interested, the standard model is priced at $149. However, if you prefer the full-sized version that comes with a built-in numpad, that will be priced slightly higher at $179. These are wireless keyboards so you can use them with your other Mac computers without the need for wires, but there’s something you should also take note of.
Apple has noted that the new Magic Keyboards will only be compatible with Apple Silicon Mac computers. This means that you can’t use it with Apple’s older Intel-based Mac computers. Also, oddly enough, it will not play nicely with the refreshed iPad Pro that comes with the same M1 chipset, so that’s something you’ll have to consider if you plan on buying it.
In addition to selling the new Magic Keyboards, Apple will also be selling the redesigned Magic Trackpad that features the same rounded corners as the keyboard, for those who care about their accessories matching.
