Users can temporarily turn off the feature, but it will turn back on the next time you launch the Camera app. However, in iOS 15, Apple is finally giving users a bit more control where users will now be able to change their camera settings to make sure that Night Mode stays off until they turn it back on.
Right now, it seems that the settings will be buried inside of the Camera’s settings which means that you won’t be able to toggle it on or off via the Camera app. This is versus other camera features like HDR or flash where you can choose to turn it on or off via the Camera app itself, which we have to say is a lot more efficient.
Either way, it’s an option for users if they prefer keeping it permanently off (until they turn it back on).
