One of the benefits of Google Stadia is that because it streams games, you could literally play the game on any device that supports it, like your phone, tablet, PC, or even your TV. In fact, last month Stadia actually launched for Android TV and to tempt gamers, Google created a package that offered a discounted price for those who bought a Stadia controller together with a Chromecast with Google TV.
It was thought that maybe this package would be a temporary offer to get people interested and also act as a form of marketing, but maybe it turned out to be more popular that Google had anticipated. The company is now making the package a permanent fixture, meaning that this will be one of the official Stadia bundles that future customers can look forward to.
This package will now be known as the “Play and Watch with Google TV Package”. So how much will this cost? For those who are keen, it seems that this package will be priced at $100, which is about $20 cheaper than if you were to buy it separately. For context, the controller is priced at $70 while the Chromecast with Google TV is priced at $50.
However, if you feel that this is still a bit too expensive for your tastes, then Google is offering an $80 bundle that will come with the older Chromecast Ultra and the Stadia controller, so that’s an option to consider if you want to save a bit more.
