When it comes to PC cooling solutions, a lot of people go with liquid cooling for the CPU, but PCs still need the use of fans to suck cool air in and blow hot air out, and when it comes to PC fans, Noctua is kind of legendary in that regard. The company’s brown-colored fans are iconic and they are renowned for having some of the best fans out there.
So much so that if you are a PC enthusiast, then you should be pretty excited to learn that ASUS and Noctua could be working together on a new GPU. This is according to reports in which based on a filing with the EEC, a certain “RTX3070-8G-NOCTUA” was mentioned, which honestly leaves little to the imagination.
That being said, apparently this alleged partnership isn’t new. According to a report from Hwcooling, there were talks about such a partnership in late July, but neither company has confirmed or denied them. It will be interesting to see if this partnership is true, and if the GPUs will come in Noctua’s trademark brown color like the renders above.
Either way, take it with a grain of salt but if the partnership is real, we expect that we will be hearing the official details soon enough.
