With every Apple Watch release, Apple also includes new watch faces to keep things fresh and interesting. This is expected to be the same with the upcoming Apple Watch Series 7, where according to Mark Gurman’s Power On newsletter, it seems that Apple will include new faces that will take advantage of the larger display.
For those unfamiliar, a recent rumor claimed that Apple will be bumping up the size of the display for the Apple Watch Series 7. Instead of sporting 40mm and 44mm display options, Apple will increase it to 41mm and 45mm, although like we said before, we’re not sure how noticeable the increase in 1mm will be.
The Apple Watch Series 7 is also rumored to feature a brand new design with flat edges, doing away with the curves that we’ve seen in previous models. Gurman’s newsletter also reaffirms the rumors that the Series 7 will most likely not come with new health sensors. There were initial reports that the device could come with a non-invasive glucose monitor, but subsequent reports refuted those claims, suggesting that it could still be years before we see that happen.
The Series 7 will most likely be announced at Apple’s iPhone event which is said to take place in September, so it probably won’t be too long until we get the official confirmation.
