Apple Watch Series 7 Could Be Apple’s Biggest Smartwatch To Date

With the first few Apple Watch generations, Apple offered the watch in 38mm and 42mm options. However, that changed with later models where Apple upgraded the size where the smallest model was 40mm while the larger models was bumped up to 44mm, and now it looks like that is set to change again.

According to a post on Weibo by Chinese leakster calling themselves UnclePan, apparently it seems that with the upcoming Series 7, Apple will be upgrading the sizes of the watch once again. It will be a very incremental change but it will see the smallest model upgraded to 41mm, while the largest model will be increased to 45mm.

We’re not sure how obvious these changes are going to be, especially since the rumors are claiming that the Apple Watch Series 7 is expected to undergo quite a drastic design, where they will sport flat edges similar to the iPhone 12 and iPad Pro. While a larger screen might be welcome by some, it might be a put off for others.

This is because at 41mm it makes it almost the same size as the original Apple Watch’s larger model, and for some, the larger look isn’t appealing due to smaller/thinner wrists, but who knows, maybe it won’t matter. Apple hasn’t announced anything yet but it is expected that there could be an event (or two) in September so hopefully we’ll learn more then.
