This change seems to be on the Android beta of Twitter so for iOS users, you might not see this available yet. However, the Android version only allows users to sign in with Google as one of the options, but we imagine that when the iOS version gets this feature, users will probably be able to choose between Apple or Google.
It’s actually interesting that Facebook isn’t one of the options for users to choose from, especially since Facebook logins are pretty common. However, it isn’t that surprising since both Facebook and Twitter are kind of rivals in the social media space, so there is no sense in giving Facebook more data than necessary.
There is no word on when these new sign in options will be rolling out to users, but since it is in beta, it might not be too long until it does, so keep an eye out for it if this sounds like something you might be interested in.
