The same cannot be said for smartwatches that last either only a day or a few days before needing another charge. If you’re looking for a smartwatch that you rarely have to charge, the newly announced Oppo Watch 2 could be of interest to you, especially with its advertised battery life of 16 days in its Power Saver mode.
Under the hood, the Oppo Watch 2 is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 4100 platform and runs on Oppo’s own ColorOS. It should be noted that Oppo released a version of the Oppo Watch last year outside of China that ran on Wear OS, but it is unclear if the company plans to do the same again.
The watch will be offered in 42mm or 46mm sizes and will feature a curved OLED display with a 60Hz refresh rate. It comes with the usual host of sensors for your heart rate, sleep, blood oxygen, and more. The Oppo Watch 2 is priced at around $200 and at the moment it seems to be exclusive to China.
