This is because LG has confirmed that its rollable OLED 4K TV will be available for purchase in the US where it will be priced at an eye-watering $100,000. The entire setup will consist of a 65-inch 4K OLED display that can be rolled up, along with the cabinet that the display is tucked into that will also consist of Dolby Atmos front-firing speakers.
Clearly this isn’t a television set aimed at the masses, although it does seem a bit more expensive than the Korean version which launched last year and was priced close to $90,000. Then again, if you can afford to spend that much on a TV, we’re not sure if the differences will matter as much.
This is a TV designed more for those who want to have the latest cutting edge technology. There are obviously much cheaper TVs around but if you’re interested, you can head on over to LG’s website for the details. Orders are expected to open in August.
