According to a recent investor’s note from Kuo that was seen by MacRumors, it seems that Kuo believes that Apple could be working on a new iPhone for 2022 that will offer a 6.7-inch display size but be priced under $900.
At the moment, Apple’s iPhone lineup consists of four models – the iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro, and the iPhone 12 Pro Max. The iPhone 12 mini has a 5.4-inch display while the iPhone 12 and 12 Pro have a 6.1-inch screen while the Pro Max is the only model that has a 6.7-inch display.
Assuming Kuo’s report is accurate, this means that come 2022, Apple would have refined their lineup to consist of two 6.1-inch iPhones and two 6.7-inch iPhones. We’re not sure if the base iPhone 14 will take the place of the “mini”, so we’ll just have to wait and see.
