According to Twitter, “We’ve heard from the people that use Twitter a lot, and we mean a lot, that we don’t always build power features that meet their needs. Well, that’s about to change. We took this feedback to heart, and are developing and iterating upon a solution that will give the people who use Twitter the most what they are looking for: access to exclusive features and perks that will take their experience on Twitter to the next level.”
These new features include the ability to undo a tweet which gives users up to 30 seconds from posting to undo it and make edits. Subscribers will also gain access to customizable app icons for their home screen, a Reader Mode that helps cut out the noise for long tweets, a bookmark folder for your favorite tweets, and more.
For now, it seems that Twitter Blue will be only available in Australia and Canada, but presumably it should eventually make its way to more parts of the world, although the company stopped short of mentioning when.
