Components like hard drives and SSDs are placed within our computers, so you don’t always get to look at it, or rather why would you? However, a lot of chassis makers these days are creating PC cases with windows to help highlight the build, which is why not only does the component need to be good internally, but it has to look good externally.
If you’re after a fancy looking SSD, then you might be interested to learn that Seagate has recently announced a limited edition Cyberpunk 2077 SSD. It seems a bit late considering that the game has been out for a while and the hype has kind of died down a bit, but at the same time, it is a rather striking looking SSD that might look good in any case even if you aren’t a fan of the game.
This SSD is the FireCuda 520 Cyberpunk 2077 Limited Edition and as expected, there will only be 2,077 units made. The SSD will only come in 1TB of storage, versus the regular version of the FireCuda which is offered in multiple storage sizes from 500GB up to 2TB. However, apart from the looks, it should function exactly the same.
As for pricing, Seagate did not mention how much it will cost. However, the regular 1TB FireCuda 520 is priced at $210, but given the limited edition nature of this SSD, we expect it should be priced a bit higher than that.
