Google actually offers a VPN service of their own to its Google Fi customers, but for the longest time ever, it was in beta, and even when it exited beta in February earlier this year, it was exclusive to Android, but not anymore. The good news for iPhone users is that according to Google’s announcement on Twitter, Google Fi VPN will now be available to iPhone users as well.

All users need to do is make sure that their Google Fi app on their iPhone is updated to version 3.5 and they should be good to go. However, do note that the feature is being rolled out as we speak so even if you’re updated to 3.5 already, you might not see it yet until it reaches your device, but ensuring you’re updated will make sure that the feature is available when it does arrive.
At the moment, Google Fi VPN will only be available in a handful of countries including Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Faroe Islands, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Mexico, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, UK, US, US Minor Outlying Islands, and Virgin Islands.
