Cyberpunk 2077 was one of 2020’s most anticipated games. Given the pandemic and lockdowns taking place around the world, many were looking forward to a game that they would sink their teeth into. Unfortunately, the buggy launch and various issues put many gamers off, especially those on consoles who found the game near unplayable.

This eventually resulted in Sony removing the game from the PlayStation Store and even refunding gamers who asked for it. However, fast forward to today, CD Projekt has done a lot of work to try and fix the game and for PlayStation gamers who are looking to give the game another chance, you can do so starting 21st of June.

This is because according to CD Projekt’s regulatory announcement, they have revealed that the game will be returning to the PlayStation Store next week. According to the announcement, CD Projekt “publicly discloses the decision by Sony Interactive Entertainment to reinstate the availability of the digital edition of Cyberpunk 2077 on PlayStation Store, effective on 21 June 2021.”

Sony has yet to officially make any kind of announcement, although we’re not sure if there is going to be one or if the game will just simply be available for purchase again. Either way, it’s good news for console gamers who are hoping to give the game another try. That being said, despite the issues, Cyberpunk 2077 reportedly still sold millions of copies, even when you take the refunds into account.
