Do note that as far as these features are concerned, not all songs on Apple Music will support them so you will have to keep an eye out for the icons that show which songs have support or not. We imagine that over time more songs will come with support for them, but until then, your mileage may vary.
For those unfamiliar, Spatial Audio is like 3D audio where it’s meant to help you feel the direction that the instrument is playing, so instead of just coming from the left and right of your headphones, it might give the illusion that a sound is coming from behind, from the front, and so on. At the moment, Spatial Audio is only available through compatible headphones like the AirPods.
As for Lossless Audio, you might require a pair of headphones or speakers that can truly bring out the details, so your cheap bundled EarPods might not cut it. These features aren’t live for everyone just yet, but they should be rolled out today so it should be available to all Apple Music subscribers eventually.
