One of the things that companies are now shifting towards would be subscriptions, even with video games which in the case of Apple would be Apple Arcade, and Google with their Google Play Pass. If you’re curious about either but don’t want to spend the money, you might be in luck if you’re a Verizon customer.
This is because Verizon has announced a new deal for its unlimited plan customers. Starting on the 25th of May, if you’re a Verizon unlimited customer, you will be able to get yourself up to a year’s subscription to Apple Arcade or Google Play Pass completely free. This essentially saves you about $60 for an entire year.
However, do note that the free one year subscription is for those who pay for the Play More Unlimited and Get More Unlimited. If you’re not subscribed to either of those plans, then the annual pass will be reduced to just a six month pass, which we reckon is still pretty good and a good way to keep yourself entertained.
Just the other day, SteelSeries also announced a similar offer to customers who purchase its Nimbus+ controller, where those customers will be given free four months of Apple Arcade.
